When using boards, the “Feet Back” listed in the Precision Trolling Data app is deployed before adding the board. The amount of line from the rod tip to the board is not included in the “Feet Back” and does not affect the dive depth of the lure/device.
The common Lead Core setup is 18# Dacron Lead Core with a 15 foot leader to 10# Berkley Fire line.
For Lead Core data, the “Feet Back” includes the leader length followed by the length of the Lead Core line. For example, if “Feet Back” is shown as 60 feet, that would mean put out the 15 foot leader and another 45 feet of Lead Core line for a total of 60 feet out.
The Precision Trolling Data app features lead core data for certain lures. To use this data, simply click on the “Line Type” and select the Lead Core setup you are using.
To get a list of all the lures that have Lead Core data, from the main screen click on the “Lists” icon in the lower right. Then select “18# Leadcore”.
